Obituary for Ida M. Kirsch
Ida M. Kirsch, age 82, of Caldwell, Ohio, formerly of Columbus, died Thursday, February 26, 2009, at Summit Acres Nursing Home in Caldwell. She was born March 10, 1926, in Prestonburg, Kentucky, daughter of the late George and Susan Hall Miller. She worked as a keypunch supervisor for Columbia Gas of Ohio in Columbus. Ida enjoyed music, playing the organ, and collecting china tea cups. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Kirsch, who died September 30, 1994; five brothers, Frank, Estill, Reuben, Virgil and Otis; and four sisters, Beulah, Daisy, Ollie and Rhoda. Surviving are two daughters, Dianelle L. (Robert) Bates of Caldwell and Sheila D. (Mark) White of Malta; one son, Greg A. (Christine) Kirsch of Pickerington; 3 grandchildren, Jonathan Kirsch, Jessica McMahan, and Brad Gold; two great-grandchildren, Ava and Brady McMahan; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Friday, February 27, 2009, from 5-7PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will follow at 7PM with Pastor Gary Fitzgerald officiating. Burial will be observed Saturday, February 28th at 11AM at Sunset Cemetery in Galloway, Ohio.
