Obituary for Howard Dallas Lee
Howard Dallas Lee, age 83, of Sarahsville, Ohio, died Monday, March 2, 2009, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born September 24, 1925, at Little Hocking, Ohio, son of the late Joseph Fantleroy and Rhoda Savannah Lee. He was employed as a laborer and he owned and operated a family farm for many years. He was a member of the Barnesville Moose Lodge, and later the Bradenton, Florida Moose Lodge. He loved to play pool, hunt, and dance. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Edna Louise Craig Lee, whom he married September 16, 1950, and who died August 7, 2008; one son, Dallas Wayne Lee; one sister, Virginia Kapple; and five brothers, George Lee, Robert E. Lee, Clarence Lee, Elmer Lee, and Herbert Lee. Surviving are his children, Dorothy Moore of Caldwell, Bonnie (Henry) Science of Marietta, Donna (Tommy) Tyson of Bradenton, Florida, David Lee of Caldwell, Billie Jo Groves of Caldwell, Kim (David) Hupp of Caldwell, and Waynetta (Todd) Carpenter of Temperanceville; one sister, Ruth Parsons of Marietta; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Friends may call Wednesday, March 4, 2009, from 2-4 and 6-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will be observed Thursday, March 5th at 12PM with Pastor Richard Heller officiating. Burial will follow at Tunnel Cemetery near Marietta.
