Howard Dean “Deano” Lloyd, Jr., age 51, of Cambridge, Ohio, died Friday, February 19, 2021, at his home. He was born December 18, 1969, in Marietta, son of LaVonna Marie Parry Lloyd of Byesville and the late Howard Dean Lloyd, Sr. He graduated from the auto mechanic program at Mid-East Career Center in Buffalo. Deano was employed as a cook at the Downtown Arena in Cambridge. He enjoyed watching NFL football, car shows, drag racing, and boxing on TV.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by three children, Michael Anthony Lloyd and Emilee Lloyd, both of Cambridge, and Straton Berry of Dexter City; five sisters, Judean M. Leroy of Zanesville, Joanna L. Lloyd of Caldwell, Amanda R. Lloyd of St. Clairsville, Sheila Noll of Zanesville, and Melody (Dave) Johnson of Crooksville; one brother, Toby A. Lloyd of Byesville; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Friday, February 26, 2021, from 11AM-1PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will follow visitation at 1PM with Ken Perkins officiating. Guests are required to wear face coverings and practice social distancing as required by the state of Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to McVay-Perkins Funeral Home to assist the family with final expenses at clicking the green Donate tab in the left column.
