Obituary for Helen Rosella Pauley
Helen Rosella Nicholson Pauley, age 71, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Tuesday, December 19, 2006, at her residence. She was born September 21, 1935, in Sarahsville, Ohio, daughter of the late George and Margaret Smith Nichelson Buckey. She was a 1954 graduate of Belle Valley High School, and she was formerly employed as an unemployment representative for R. E. Harrington Accrual Insurance in Westerville. She was a member of Center Free Methodist Church, Sarahsville, where she ran the food pantry and served as a head steward for many years. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ambrose 'A.J.' Pauley, whom she married November 28, 1956, and who died April 4, 2005; one brother, Glen Nicholson; and one sister, Linda Masters. Surviving are a son, Darrell C. (Janet L.) Pauley of Worthington; two sisters, Twila (Ray) Lavy of Zanesville and Beverly Hague of Reno; four brothers, John (Patty) Nichelson and Kenny (Janice) Nichelson, both of Caldwell, Bill Nicholson of Byesville, and Frankie Buckey of Cambridge; and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call Friday, December 22, 2006, from 5-9PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, Caldwell, where the funeral service will be held Saturday, December 23 at 10AM with Pastor Nate Gibbons officiating. Burial will follow at Center Free Methodist Church Cemetery, Sarahsville. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society - P.O.
