Hazel M. Turner, age 82, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Saturday, April 27, 2012, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born February 4, 1930, in Newark, Ohio, daughter of the late Earl and Minnie Black Pangle. She was a graduate of Dexter City High School, and she was employed as a ward secretary at Summit Acres Nursing Home for fifteen years. She enjoyed embroidering, playing cards, and she loved spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husbands, Quaye “Casey” Pryor and George Turner; an infant son, Gregory Mahlon Pryor; two sisters, Louella Gordon and Betty Small; one brother, Bill Pangle; one grandson; and one great-grandson. Surviving are two daughters, Nesta D. Biehl of Marietta and Brenda K. Antill of Caldwell; 9 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Monday, April 30, 2012, from 4-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will be observed Tuesday, May 1st at 1PM with Pastor John Powell officiating. Burial will follow at Dudley Cemetery.
