Obituary for Harold Lewis Richardson, Sr.
Harold Lewis Richardson, Sr., age 66, of Cambridge, Ohio, died Sunday, March 25, 2012, at SE Ohio Regional Medical Center in Cambridge. He was born November 26, 1945, in Noble, Illinois, son of the late John Lewis and Allene Burton Richardson. He was a United States Army veteran, having served in the Vietnam War. He retired as a mechanic for the Central Ohio Coal Company. He was Protestant by faith, and he was a member of the Freeland Valley Tractor Club and the VFW Post #2901, Cambridge. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one sister and three brothers. Surviving are his wife, Mary Lou Kiggans Richardson, whom he married June 9, 1969; five sons, Harold Richardson, Jr., Mickey L. (Janna) Richardson, Matthew C. (April) Richardson, Michael S. Richardson, and Mark A. Richardson, all of Cambridge; three sisters, Patty, Eva, and Ginger, all of Illinois; four brothers, Bart, Jim, Gene, and Jerry, all of Illinois; 10 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. No visitation or service will be observed. Inurnment will take place at the convenience of the family. McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, is caring for the family.
