Obituary for Grace V. Schneeberger
Grace V. Schneeberger, age 82, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Sunday, April 8, 2012, at her home. She was born February 19, 1930, near Elba, daughter of the late Franklin and Rosanna Hayes Schramm. She attended Elba School, and she was a 1948 graduate of Macksburg High School. She was a homemaker, and she was formerly employed as a waitress at the original Ogle’s Restaurant in Dexter City. Mrs. Schneeberger was a member of the New Harmony Baptist Church in Dexter City, and she enjoyed gardening, quilting, and she loved her cats. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, George Fredric “Fred” Schneeberger, whom she married December 24, 1952, and who died September 1, 2009; one sister, Jean Diller; and one brother, Clyde Schramm. Surviving are two sons, William E. (Carol) Schneeberger of Whipple and Daniel R. Schneeberger of Caldwell; one sister, June (Ray) Schneeberger of Caldwell; one brother, Earl Schramm of Devola; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and special friends, Naomi King and Jessica McAlarney, both of Caldwell. Friends may call Tuesday, April 10, 2012, from 4-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will be Wednesday, April 11th at 11AM with Pastor Mark Leslie officiating. Burial will follow at Village View Cemetery in Sarahsville. Memorials may be made to Noble County Home Health Agency, 44069 SR 821, Caldwell, Ohio, 43724, or the Strecker Cancer Center, 401 Matthew Street, Marietta, Ohio, 45750.
