Obituary for Geneva G. Leasure
Geneva G. Leasure, age 85, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Saturday, April 4, 2015, at her home. She was born May 25, 1929, in Calais, daughter of the late Joseph and Mahala Pierce Brown. She was a beloved mother and homemaker, and she attended Calais Community Church. Mrs. Leasure enjoyed sun tanning, and she loved taking care of her home and family.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one son, Richard Hill; one grandson, Billy Leasure; and three half-brothers, Dwight, Willard, and Bernard Hill.

Surviving are her husband, Raymond R. Leasure, whom she married May 17, 1958; her children, Nena Jo Hamrick of Otsego, Trudy W. (Doug) Hitzel of Cambridge, and Raymond “Junior” (Peggy) Leasure, Nancy L. (David) Smith, and David W. (Michelle) Leasure, all of Caldwell; two step-sisters, Olive of California and Florence of Zanesville; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

There will be no service at this time. Inurnment will take place at Tabor Ridge Cemetery near Stafford at a later date. McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, is caring for the family.
