Obituary for Frederick Byron Hall
Frederick Byron Hall, age 87, of Caldwell, Ohio, formerly of Ava, died Thursday, May 23, 2019, at Summit Acres Nursing Home in Caldwell He was born May 21, 1932, in Noble County, son of the late Charles Brown Hall and Rito Gale Elliott Hall. He was a graduate of Belle Valley High School, and he was a United States Army veteran, having served for two years. Fred was employed with the former Gould plant in Caldwell for over 40 years. He was a member of the Nashport United Methodist Church, the Belle Valley American Legion Post #641, and the NRA. He enjoyed going to gun shows, flea markets, and yard sales, and he also enjoyed hunting. He was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Beulah “Betty” Johnson Hall; his second wife, Doris I. Cramblett Hall; and one sister, Marjorie G. Hall.

Surviving are his step-children, Diana (Danny) Sensabaugh of Strasburg, Ed (Carol) Carpenter of Globe, Arizona, and Randy Carpenter of Conesville; one brother, Dwain C. (Nancy) Hall of Senecaville; two nephews, Jason Hall and Chad Hall, both of Senecaville; two great-nephews, D.J. and Charlie Hall of Senecaville; and several step-grandchildren and cousins.

Friends may call Monday, May 27, 2019, from 4-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will be observed Tuesday, May 28th at 11AM with Rev. Dr. Robert Buckley officiating. A veteran’s graveside service will follow at Sharon Cemetery conducted by the Noble County Veteran Service Organizations.
