Obituary for Freda P. Noll
Freda P. (Cornett) Noll, age 90, of TR 265, Caldwell, Ohio died unexpectedly on (Friday (8/22/2003), at the home of her daughter Betty C. Nau, where she had resided for almost 10 years. Freda was born February 10, 1913, in Enoch Township, Noble County, Ohio, the sixth of eight children of late Louis and Mary Ann Warner Cornett. She was the last living relative of the family. She was also preceded in death by her baby daughter Mary Louise on 12/5/1933; 1 grandchild; and her husband Clarence J. Noll, who died March 19, 1985. They would have celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on August 16th. After the death of her husband, Freda worked as a senior citizen companion. She was a member of St. Mary of the Immaculate Conseption Catholic Church at Fulda and the Catholic Women's Club where she donated numerous quilts. She was very strong in her Catholic faith and prayed the rosary every day. In addition, she enjoyed reading and playing cards. She is survivied by her children Marie (Louis) Schilling of Beverly, Ohio, Thelma (Charlie) Binegar of Marietta, Ohio, Sister M. Louray of Chardon, Ohio, Ruth (Claude) Fox of Beverly, Ohio, Betty (Herman) Nau of Caldwell, Ohio, Helen (Ron) Knoch of Lowell, Ohio, Dorothy (Dave) Schaad of Waterford, Ohio; Louis Noll of Caldwell, Ohio and Larry Noll of Summerfield, Ohio. She was the proud and loving grandmother of 37 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; 2 step-great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson. She will be sadly missed by each and every one of her descendents. Visitation will be held on Sunday (8/24/22003) from 7 to 9 PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, Ohio where Christian Wake Services will be held at 8:30 PM. Funeral Mass with Liturgy will be celebrated on Monday (8/25/2003) at 10:30 AM at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Fulda with the Rev. Fr. Samuel Saprano as celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Parrish Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
