Obituary for Frank Farley
Frank Farley, age 67, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Monday, June 2, 2008, at his home. He was born June 11, 1940, in Akron, Ohio, son of the late Julius and Lula Fern Winegar Farley. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. Navy, and he retired as an electrician and maintenance supervisor for Lockheed-Martin, formerly Goodyear Aerospace in Akron. He was a member of the Belle Valley United Methodist Church, the American Legion in Akron, and the Mogodore Moose Lodge #1082. Surviving are his wife, Karen E. Schumacher Farley, whom he married September 15, 1979; his children, Frank D. (Heather) Farley of Munroe Falls, Laurie A. (Bill) Bond of Caldwell, Tracy L. (Tracy) Mills of Akron, Nichole C. (Shawn) Golden of Akron, and Michele L. (Earl) Iles of Caldwell; 16 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and his beloved dog, Schnitzel. Friends may call Wednesday, June 4, 2008, from 5-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, and Thursday, June 5th from 5-9PM at Newcomer Family Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron. A military graveside service will be observed Friday, June 6th at 1PM at Hillside Memorial Park in Akron. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Guernsey, P.O.
