Frank A. Kovaleski, age 70, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Saturday, May 9, 2020, at his home. He was born June 12, 1949, in Athens, Ohio, son of the late Clemency Leroy and Elisabeth Lucille Pouzide Kovaleski. He was a 1967 graduate of Skyview High School and he was a United States Army veteran. He served as a paratrooper with the 101st Airborne Division and was awarded the Purple Heart. Frank was Christian by faith. He enjoyed fishing, and he loved to spend time with his family and his dogs.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
Surviving are his wife, Debra A. Hesson Kovaleski, whom he married July 17, 1975; his children, Shane A. Kovaleski of the home, and Sarah A. Kovaleski and Stacey Lee, both of Marietta; one brother, Donald O. (Rita) Kovaleski of New Albany; one aunt, Geraldine Pouzide of Marietta; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and his beloved dog, Rusty, and beloved grand-dog, Stryder.
