Obituary for Floyd P Green
Floyd P. Green, age 73, of Caldwell died Saturday afternoon November 8, 2003 at the Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born in Elba, Ohio on February 22, 1930 a son of the late Arthur and Zella Ward Green. He was a forman at the former Noble Hardwoods, A U S Army Veteran serving in Korea and a Methodist by faith. He was preceded in death by 2 sisters; Marie Lori and Betty Larrick and 1 Great-grandson; Brent Ward. He is survived by his wife June L. Rogers Green whom he married on June 9, 1953, 3 sons; Jerry (Tammy) Green of Zanesville, Daniel (Beth) Green of Whipple, Rex (Cindy) Green of Caldwell, 2 daughters; Sue (Roger) Ward of Lowell and Janet (Tony) Hannum of Caldwell, 6 brothers; Harold (Leda) Green of Caldwell, James (Loretta) Green of Stockport, Virgil Green of Caldwell, Eldon (Sonja) Green of Sharon, Vernon Green of Zanesville and Glen Green of Caldwell, 3 sisters; Ruth (Charles) Henry of Dexter City, Virginia Lori of Belle Valley, Sandra Green of Caldwell, 10 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday at 1pm at the McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, Caldwell will Rev. Flo Beranger officiating. No calling hours will be observed. Interment will be in Sharon Cemetery with Military honors conducted by the Caldwell VFW Post #4721 and the Belle Valley American Legion Post #64.
