Everett L. Blair, age 80, of Crooked Tree, Ohio, died Thursday, June 16, 2016, at his home. He was born May 11, 1936, in Macksburg, son of the late John and Shelly Greene Blair. He attended Macksburg School, and he was a United States Army veteran. He retired as a stone crusher for King Quarries, and he enjoyed taking rides.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Erma L. Misel Blair, whom he married July 4, 1961, and who died April 3, 2005; one sister, Betty Davis; and two brothers, Don Blair and Ervin Junior Blair.
Surviving are his children, Debra K. (Timothy) Bradley of Dexter City, Timothy E. Blair of Dexter City, John D. Blair of Byesville, and Jeff A. (Christy) Blair of Dexter City; one granddaughter, Kimberly (Justin) Moore of Cumberland; two great-grandchildren, Levi and Lexi Moore; his in-laws, Dave and Carol Misel of Zanesville, Marlene Clay of Princeton, West Virginia, and Gerald “Buckeye” Davis of Sarahsville; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be observed Sunday, June 19, 2016, at 3PM at Lund Cemetery in Macksburg.
