Obituary for Erma Jean Foraker
Erma J. Foraker, age 74, of Caldwell, Ohio,died Friday, December 18, 2009, at The Arbors at Marietta. She was born October 23, 1935, in Keithtown, Noble County, Ohio, daughter of the late Ivan and Emma Mincks Waller. She was a 1953 graduate of Dexter City High School and she was a member the Keith United Methodist Church. Mrs. Foraker was a homemaker, and along with her husband formerly owned and operated the D & E Drive In at Macksburg. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo, walking, and following all of granddaughter Olivia?s activities. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two sisters, June Schwenk and Maxine Brock; and one brother, Robert Waller. Surviving are her husband E. Dean Foraker, whom she married May 15, 1954; two sons, Timothy Joseph Foraker of Orlando, Florida, and Thomas Dean Foraker of Texas; two daughters, Sharon L. Archer of Caldwell and Sue Ellen Foraker of Duncan Falls; her step-mother, Gertrude Waller of Dexter City; two sisters, Judy (Carlos) Porter of Dexter City and Linda (Carl) Parsons of Caldwell; one brother, Bill (Dottie) Waller of Beverly; one granddaughter, Olivia J. Archer of Caldwell; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Sunday, December 20, 2009 from 4-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will be observed Monday, December 21, 2009, at 11AM with Pastor Ken Ogg officiating. Burial will follow at Keith Cemetery.
