Obituary for Eric A. Griffin
Eric A. Griffin, age 52, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Saturday, March 7, 2015, at The James Cancer Center in Columbus. He was born November 18, 1962, in Cleveland, son of B. F. Griffin of Parkersburg, West Virginia, and the late Thelma Starcher Griffin. He was employed by Singer Auto Detailing in Caldwell, and was formerly employed as a detailer at Classic Chevrolet in Caldwell. He was a member of the Caldwell Eagles Post #2952 and an active member of H.O.G. (Harley Owners Group). Eric loved riding his Harley and he loved classic cars. He loved people and animals, and he was a simple man who loved spending time with his family.
In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by one sister, Beverly Jarvis.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Christina “Christy” L. Teters Griffin, whom he married October 12, 1991; two sons, Andrew J. Richards of Heath and Austin A. Griffin (Karissa Gibson) of Caldwell; one brother, Joseph F. Griffin of Parkersburg, West Virginia; 4 grandchildren; one niece; two nephews; his beloved pit bull, Bizzy; his granddog, Blayze; and many friends.
Friends may call Tuesday, March 10, 2015, from 2-4 and 6-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will be observed Wednesday, March 11th at 1PM with Kirby Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Olive Cemetery in Caldwell.
