Obituary for Emma M. Warehime
Emma M. Warehime, age 91, of Caldwell, died Thursday, Sept. 9, 2004 at SE Ohio Regional Medical Center, Cambridge. She was born April 14, 1913, in Guernsey County, daughter of the late John Wesley and Julia Callihan Bundy. Along with her late husband, she owned and operated the former Warehime Greenhouse and Berry Farm in Ava. She was a member of the Ava United Methodist Church and the Noble County Senior Citizens. She is preceded in death by her husband, Leone A. Warehime, who died June 13, 1988; her step-mother, Elizabeth Bundy; two sisters, Faye Hyslop and Wilma Hardesty; and two brothers, Paul and Homer Bundy. Surviving are two daughters, Lela Mae Davis of Ava and Nellie Poulton of Caldwell; one granddaughter, Mrs. Bob (Connie) Bond of Caldwell; two grandsons, Mark (Carla) Davis and David (Teresa) Poulton both of Caldwell; two great-granddaughters, Lindsay and Kelsey Bond; one great-grandson, Stephon Poulton; one sister, Fern Norman of Newcomerstown; three brothers, William Bundy of Newcomerstown, Herbert (Helen) Bundy and Robert Maxine Bundy, both of Coshocton; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Saturday, Sept. 11, from 2-4 and 7-9PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, Caldwell. Services will be conducted on Sunday at 2PM at the Ava United Methodist Church with Rev. Flo Berenger and Pastor John Powell officiating. Burial will be at Halleys Ridge Cemetery, Ava.
