Obituary for Emma Kathleen Hupp
Emma Kathleen Hupp, age 95, passed away peacefully on January 6, 2013, at 6:40AM at Red Carpet Health Care Center in Cambridge, Ohio, She was born August 22, 1917, in Fly, daughter of the late George and Effie Foutty. Mrs. Hupp spent most of her life as a homemaker. She enjoyed making homemade noodles, baking, sewing, and quilting. She was an excellent sharpshooter with a rifle larger than herself. She was a longtime member of the Caldwell United Methodist Church, and a member of the Eastern Star. Her hobbies were camping, fishing and playing cards. Kathleen was a very giving person to everyone that she met. She will be sadly missed by her family and her friends. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Hupp; four siblings; and two grandsons. Surviving are one daughter, Bonnie Hupp of Cambridge; two sons, Jim Hupp of Kokomo, Indiana, and Tim Hupp of Palm Springs, California; one granddaughter, Natalie (Michael) Littleton; one great-grandchild, Jamie Littleton of Louisville, Ohio; and many wonderful nieces and nephews. Friends may call Saturday, January 19, 2013, from 11AM-2PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will follow at 2PM with Pastor Gary Fitzgerald officiating. Inurnment will be at Olive Cemetery.
