Obituary for Elizabeth Ann "Betty" Wuletich
Elizabeth Ann “Betty” Wuletich, age 77, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Tuesday, January 26, 2016, at Summit Acres Nursing Home in Caldwell. She was born March 2, 1938, in Florence, Noble County, Ohio, daughter of the late George and Susie Safigan Wuletich. She was a graduate of Powhatan High School in Powhatan Point, and she was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church in Caldwell. She loved playing bingo, and she enjoyed attending church services at the nursing home.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by four sisters, Katie (Allen) Johnson, Virginia (Carl) Bechtol, Agnes (Bud) Erwin, and Mary Ann “Babe” (John) Michael; and an infant brother, Peter Wuletich.
Surviving are two brothers, David (Mary) Wuletich of Charleston, West Virginia, and Edward Wuletich of Caldwell; one sister, Emily (Mike) Chicwak of Caldwell; and several nieces and nephews. Her family would like to thank her caregivers and staff at Summit Acres Nursing Home for their care and concern through the years.
Friends may call Thursday, January 28, 2016, from 6-8PM at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Caldwell, where a Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be observed Friday, January 29th at 11AM with Rev. Fr. Wayne Morris as celebrant with her nephew Rev. Mr. David Wuletich giving the eulogy. Burial will follow at Olive Cemetery in Caldwell. McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, is caring for the family.
