Obituary for Edna Irene Morrison
Edna Irene Morrison, age 94, formerly of Harriettsville, Ohio, died Sunday, October 11, 2015, at Swanton Health and Retirement Center in Swanton. She was born June 8, 1921, in Harriettsville, daughter of the late Floyd M. and Amanda Morland Lee. She was a 1939 graduate of Elk Local High School, and she was employed as a salesperson for A&S Curtain Shop. She was a member of the Creighton Ridge Church of Christ near Harriettsville.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one sister, Ruth I. Bettinger; two brothers, Lloyd M. Lee and Floyd M. Lee; and one great-grandson, Ryan McCullough.
Surviving are two daughters, Vnona L. (Lew) Spence of Swanton, and Dalale D. Hall of Newark; three grandchildren, Yvonne (Gene) Brandeberry, Yvette (Jim) Mayzes, and Michelle (Carl) Baldwin; and 11 great-grandchildren, Andy Bostelman, Branden McCullough, Deven McCullough, Logen McCullough, Jacob Brandeberry, Grace Brandeberry, Isaiah Brandeberry, William Mayzes, Tricia Baldwin, Sara Baldwin, and Danse Mayzes.
Friends may call Friday, October 16, 2015, from 1PM-3PM at the Creighton Ridge Church of Christ, State Rt. 260, Lower Salem, Ohio, where the funeral service will follow visitation at 3PM. Burial will follow at Creighton Ridge Cemetery. McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, is caring for the family.
