Obituary for Donna Mae Anderson
Donna Mae Anderson, age 69, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Tuesday, November 25, 2014, at Mt. Carmel East Hospital in Columbus. She was born March 4, 1945, in Zanesville, daughter of the late Donald D. and Leona M. Stowe Nichols. She retired in 2003 as a quality control inspector from the Mahle Corporation plant in Caldwell. She also was employed by the former Nichols Hardware Store in Caldwell, which was owned by her parents. She was a member of the United Steel Workers of America, where she served as shop steward, and she attended Faith Baptist Church in Belle Valley. Donna was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, she enjoyed bird watching and shopping, and she loved her dog, Brandy.
She is survived by two daughters, Diana L. Anderson of Groveport and Brenda L. Anderson of Caldwell; one son, Danny D. (Lisa) Anderson of Sarahsville; four grandchildren, Jordy S. (Sadie) Anderson of Zanesville, Terrence Daniel Connolly, III, and Kristen D. Connolly, both of Caldwell, and Tyler C. Anderson of Sarahsville; and several cousins.
Friends may call Friday, November 28, 2014, from 2-6PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will be observed Saturday, November 29th at 1PM with Pastor Larry Copley officiating. Burial will follow at Sharon Cemetery.
