Obituary for Detmer Charles Mitchell
Detmer Charles Mitchell, age 46, formerly of Noble County, Ohio, and a resident of New London, Ohio, died Saturday, February 2, 2008, at his home. He was born January 29, 1962, son of David C. Mitchell of Newcomerstown and Doris Carolyn Archer Mitchell of Cambridge. He attended Caldwell High School, and he was employed as a meat cutter for Rospert's Meat Market in Norwalk. He was formerly employed by Mitchell's Custom Meat Processing, Schott Lumber, and B & N Coal Company in Noble County. He enjoyed fishing and raising birds. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Homer and Floda Archer and Lee and Verna Mae Mitchell. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his fiance, Rhonda K. Eschman of New London; one daughter, Nicole Renee Mitchell of Cleveland; one son, Paul David Mitchell of Cleveland; two brothers, Joe A. (Tammy) Mitchell of Greenwich and Scott Lee (Karen) Mitchell of Cambridge; one sister, Davette Mitchell of Summerfield; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Friends may call Friday, February 8, 2008, from 4-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will be held Saturday, February 9th at 11AM with Pastor Jim Garrett officiating.
