Obituary for Dennis E. Stack
Dennis E. Stack, age 74, of Zanesville, Ohio, died Saturday, January 20, 2018, at his home. He was born August 23, 1943, in Elba, son of the late Shelby Dennis Stack and the late Pauline Beatrice Swain. Dennis retired from Burnham Metals in Zanesville following more than 34 years of service. He was a member of the Caldwell Moose Lodge #221, and he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was known for always arriving early to his destination.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret K. McKown Stack, who died in 1997; one brother, Gary Lee Stack; and a half-brother, Shelby Kendal Stack.
Surviving are one daughter, Sherry Lynn (Justin) Erwine of Springboro; his siblings, Sandra E. Hesson of North Carolina, James P. Stack of Dexter City, and Kenneth E. (Sandra) Stack of Macksburg; one aunt, Betty Goodwill; two uncles, Frank and Robert Swain; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends may call Tuesday, January 23, 2018, from 5-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will be observed Wednesay, January 24th at 1PM with Ken Perkins officiating. Burial will follow at Salem Twp. Cemetery.
