Obituary for Delores Rosamond Glidden
Delores Rosamond Glidden, age 66 of Coal Ridge, Ohio, died Sunday afternoon 8/4/2002 at her residence. She was born 7/2/1936 in Caldwell, Ohio, a daughter of Rosamond Merritt Landaker of Caldwell, Ohio and the late Clayton Landaker. She was a homemaker and a member of the Caldwell United Methodist Church. In addition to her father she is preceded in death by her husband Rolland E. Glidden, Sr. whom she married 7/26/1952 and who died 11/29/1995; 1 sister and 1 brother. Surviving in addition to her mother are 3 daughters Lisa Sanford of Homestead, Pennsylvania, Melody Lafollette of Sarahsville, Ohio and Loretta Tidd of Caldwell, Ohio; 4 sons Ronnie Glidden, Jr. of Caldwell, Ohio, Mike Glidden of Lowell, Ohio, Jeff Glidden of New Lexington, Ohio and Gary Glidden of Coal Ridge, Ohio; 1 sister Reba Farley of Sarahsville, Ohio; 23 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Tuesday 8/6/2002 from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, Ohio 43724, where services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday 8/7/2002, with the Rev. Gary Fitzgerald officiating. Burial will follow at Dudley Cemetery near Caldwell, Ohio.
