Obituary for Delbert B. Clark
Delbert B. Clark, age 83, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Wednesday, September 4, 2013, at his home. He was born September 8, 1929, in Noble County, Ohio, son of the late Little Zedrick and Rosa Belle Bates Clark. He retired as a heavy equipment operator for Union Slag in Devola. He was a member of the East Union Coffee Club, the Water Witching Dowser Club, and Big John’s Sportsman’s Club in Senecaville. He enjoyed woodworking, coon hunting, gardening, and restoring old cars. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one son, Michael Ray Clark, who died in 2002; one granddaughter, Coni Caye Clark, who died in 1968; two sisters, Mary LuCinda Anderson and Opal Juanita Leasure; and one brother, John Jacob Clark. Surviving are his wife, Nellie Mae Anderson Clark, whom he married in August, 1950; his children, Dennis E. (Vicki) Clark of Caldwell, Dale B. (Judi) Clark of Caldwell, Gary A. (Connie) Clark of Caldwell, Janice J. (Dave) Milliken of Barnesville, Janet J. (Jeffrey) Harding of Caldwell, Linda K. (Gary) Winegardner of Caldwell, and Judith L. (Jerry) O’Donnell of Caldwell; his siblings, James Richard (Nancy) Clark of Caldwell, Zedrick J. (Kay) Clark of Senecaville, Rosa Belle King of Caldwell, Joseph Edward (Nancy) Clark of Pleasant City, and William Carl (Marianne) Clark of Belle Valley; 28 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Friends may call Friday, September 6, 2013, from 2-4 and 6-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will be observed Saturday, September 7th at 11AM with Pastor Jimmy Rogers officiating. Burial will follow at Archer’s Ridge Cemetery.
