Obituary for Dawn R. Reed
Dawn R. Reed, age 47, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Friday, March 27, 2020, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. She was born July 8, 1972, in Cambridge, daughter of Darrel E. and Donna Schoeppner Yonker of Belle Valley. She was a 1990 graduate of Shenandoah High School. Dawn was employed as a pharmacy tech at Davis Drug in Caldwell for over 30 years. She was a trustee for Noble Township and a member of the Belle Valley American Legion Auxiliary Post #641. She was an active member of the Shenandoah Boosters, an avid supporter of Shenandoah Athletics, and she enjoyed going to Shenandoah sporting events. Dawn enjoyed riding four wheelers, taking trips to Myrtle Beach, and she loved doing anything outdoors. She was devoted to her family.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Mark Allen Reed, whom she married May 7, 1994, and who died August 7, 2016.
Surviving in addition to her parents are her children, Miranda D. (Brent) Dailey of Summerfield and Levi J. Reed of the home; her granddaughter, Tailyn Jinx Dailey; her father and mothers-in-law, Vernon O. “Bud” (Susie) Reed of Caldwell and Linn A. (Joe) Grywalski of Summerfield; her siblings, Rhonda (Jon) Peters of McConnellsville, Derrick Stack of Dexter City, Yvonne Yonker of Belle Valley, and Kathy (Ryan) Sherman of Caldwell; her brother-in-law, Anthony (Wendy) Reed; nieces and nephews, Michael (Emily) Yonker, Devon Leister, Hope Larrick (Paul Grattan), Laykin Hamilton (Austin Schockling), Troy Hamilton, Kendal Sherman, Ryleigh Sherman, Wyatt, Gauge, Lennyn and Bailee Stack, and Damon Reed; great-nephews, Bryan Yonker and baby Grayson; great-niece, Aubriegh Mizik; and special friend, Matt Arnold.
A private family service will be observed with Pastor Larry Copley officiating. Burial will follow at Hoskinsville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Belle Valley Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 16, Belle Valley, Ohio, 43717.
