Obituary for David E. Reline
David E. Reline, age 52, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Friday, August 26, 2022, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born March 16, 1970, in Bellaire, Ohio, son of the late James Orville and Myrtle Lee Clary Reline, Sr. He was a 1988 graduate of St. Clairsville High School and the Belmont Career Center, where he was part of the Agricultural Diesel Program. David was employed as a mechanic for Tom Brown Trucking in Caldwell and was formerly a mechanic for Matusek Trucking in St. Clairsville. He loved racing four wheelers, woodworking, restoring trucks, and attending truck pulls.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Vernon G. Reline; and one step-sister, Debra Reline Elmore.
Surviving are his wife, Wendy J. Thompson Reline, whom he married July 22, 2011; two step-children, Keisha L. Dowdell of Steubenville and Devin M. (Brianna) Thompson of Flushing; his siblings, James O. Reline, Jr. of Warren, Richard A. Reline of Bellaire, Bruce G. (Sarah) Reline of Flushing, Jeffrey L. Reline of Steubenville, Brian S. (Laura) Reline of Orangeville, Illinois, and Sheryl A. Cinanni of Texas; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Saturday, September 3, 2022, from 4-6PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will follow visitation at 6PM with Pastor George Clark officiating.
