Obituary for David E. Archer, II
David E. Archer, II, age 40, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Sunday, March 15, 2009, at SE Ohio Regional Medical Center in Cambridge, Ohio. He was born February 13, 1969, in Cambridge, son of David E. and Karen Bever Archer of Caldwell. He was a 1987 graduate of Caldwell High School, and he was employed as a furnace operator for Globe Metallurgical. He was a member of the Caldwell Church of Christ, and he enjoyed golfing. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Robert Augenstein; and his paternal grandparents, George and Beulah Swain. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Tiffany K. Schafer Archer, whom he married June 2, 1990; two sons, Cole S. Archer and Logan C. Archer, both of the home; one sister, Tina M. Archer (Bob Voytko) of Caldwell; his maternal grandmother, Eva Augenstein of Caldwell; his father and mother-in-law, Duane and Beth Schafer of Caldwell; two sisters-in-law, Dawn (Mike) Young of Cambridge and Amanda (Kris) Bright of Caldwell; his grandmother-in-law, Pauline Schafer of Caldwell; and three nieces, Briann Spiker, Halie Spiker, and Paige Young. Friends may call Tuesday, March 17, 2009, from 3-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 18th at 11AM with Pastor Jim Garrett officiating. Burial will follow at Village View Cemetery in Sarahsville.
