Obituary for Darla M. Graves
Darla M. Graves, age 48, of Canton, Ohio, died Friday, August 12, 2011, at Aultman Hospital in Canton. She was born November 28, 1962, in Canton, daughter of Lucy Pearl Bates of Summerfield and the late Dallas E. "Jinx" Allbritain. She was a 1981 graduate of Canton South High School, and she was employed as a secretary for Canton City Schools. She was formerly employed by Ohio Power Company at Canton. She was a member of Northwest Church of Christ, and she loved taking care of her children.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her children, Cody James Graves of Summerfield, and Jenna Raeschele Graves of Canton; three sisters, Sandra C. (Bob) Holcomb of Summerfield and Cheryl R. (Bill) Veigel and Renee D. (Jimmy) Graves, both of Canton; one brother, Dale W. Allbritain of Summerfield; and several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, and cousins.
Friends may call Sunday, August 14, 2011, from 2-4 and 6-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will be observed Monday, August 15th at 1PM with Evangelist Bill Craddock officiating. Burial will follow at Old Bates Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Darla's children in care of Dale Allbritain, 26660 Fiddle Creek Road, Summerfield, Ohio, 43788.
