Obituary for Dale P. Braucher
Dale P. Braucher, age 72, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Friday, July 13, 2007, at his home. He was born April 8, 1935, in Akron, Ohio, son of the late Dale M. and Milvada Robison Braucher. He was a retired heavy equipment operator, having been employed with the former Franklin Township Road Department in Summit County. He was also a volunteer fireman with the former Manchester Volunteer Fire Department. He was a member of the former Elliott Lodge #514 F&AM in Canal Fulton and the New Franklin Eagles. He enjoyed antique cars, hunting, and outdoor activities. He was preceded in death by two step-sons, Richard and Chip Harpster. Surviving are his wife, Doris J. Starcher Braucher, whom he married June 4, 1999; his children, Laura (Bob) Harpster of New Franklin, Julie Perrera of Rittman, Kerry L. (Randy) Braucher of Akron, Michael Braucher of North Carolina, and Mark (Lisa) Braucher of Akron; his step-children, Donald (Nancy) Harpster of Texas, Vicki Young of Utah, Bob (Laura) Harpster of New Franklin, and Debbie (Tony) Ferrero of Akron; two sisters, Beverly Ann Braucher of Ohio and Bettelou (Gale) Gault of Findlay; 9 grandchildren, Jarrod, Andrea, Nicholas, Jacob, Samantha, Christopher, Josh, Emily, and Aaron; 2 great-grandchildren, Bayleigh and Abigail; 7 step-grandchildren; and 2 step-great-grandchildren. No visitation will be observed. A gathering for family and friends will be held on Sunday, July 22, 2007, at 2PM at the family home. McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, is caring for the family.
