Obituary for Curtis Clayton Lamp
Curtis Clayton "Clampster" Lamp, age 47, of Marietta, Ohio, died Sunday, July 11, 2010, near Marietta. He was born June 6, 1963, in Caldwell, son of the late Curtis B. and Jewell B. Harriman Lamp. He was a 1981 graduate of Caldwell High School and Mid-East Career Center in Zanesville, wherehe studied natural resources. He was employed by Ken Miller Supply in Marietta,where he was awelder, machine operator, and a truck driver. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and riding his motorcycle.
In addition to his parents, heis preceded in death by one son, Timmothy C. Lamp, who died June 2, 2002; one sister, Alice Bond; and one brother, Ervin Lamp.
Surviving arehis girlfriend, Brandi N. Petry of Marietta; two sons, Tyler Clayton Lamp of Caldwell and Ethan Ray Lamp of the home; the mother of his son, Tyler, Donna M. Lampof Caldwell; one brother, Frank Lamp ofDexter City; onegrandson, Timmothy Dalton Lampof Caldwell; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many friends.
Friends may call Thursday, July 15, 2010, from 4-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will be observed Friday, July 16th at 11AM with Pastor Bill Pickenpaugh officiating. Burial will follow at Ogles Ridge Cemetery.
