Obituary for Craig Nile "Bub" Poland
CALDWELL -- Craig Nile "Bub" Poland, 48, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Sunday, March 18, 2007, at SE Regional Medical Center in Cambridge. He was born Oct. 29, 1958, in Cambridge, son of the late Nile E. and June E. Creager Poland. Mr. Poland worked in oil fields and also as a carpenter. Most recently, he was a mowing crew leader for GMN. He was a member of Caldwell Eagles and Belle Valley Sons of the American Legion.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Kevin Poland.
Surviving are one daughter, Elizabeth Jane Poland of Zanesville; one son, Craig N. Poland, II, of Caldwell; one brother, Edgar Poland of Caldwell; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends may call Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, Caldwell, where the funeral service will be observed Wednesday at 2PM with Pastor Jay Loucks officiating. Eagles services will be observed Tuesday evening 7:30PM. Burial will follow at Halleys Ridge Cemetery.
