Obituary for Corbett Lee Carroll
Corbett Lee Carroll, age 73, of Cumberland, Ohio, died Tuesday, November 17, 2015, at his home. He was born February 1, 1942, in Spring Hill, West Virginia, and was raised in Lost Creek, son of the late William Warden and Agnes Genevieve Bargehuff Carroll. He was a graduate of Unitas High School in West Milford, West Virginia, and he attended diesel mechanic school in Cleveland. He retired in 2005 from the maintenance department at GNC Properties in Cleveland Heights. He enjoyed watching television, especially sci-fi programs.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
Surviving are four sons, Junior Lee Carroll of Cumberland, Timothy R. (Elizabeth) Carroll of Clarksburg, West Virginia, Clinton A. (Wendy) Carroll of Cleveland, and Clifford B. (Janice) Carroll of Clarksburg, West Virginia; three sisters, Mary A. (Harold) Searles of Cleveland, Jean F. Edgell of Liberty, West Virginia, and Emma J. (Bill) Hepinger of Cleveland Heights; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service will be observed Saturday, November 21, 2015, at 1PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, with Pastor George Clark officiating.
