Connie Sue Patterson Prunty, age 44, of Belle Valley, Ohio, died Tuesday, April 24, 2007, at her residence. She was born December 9, 1962, in Parkersburg, West Virginia, daughter of the late Janet M. Yerian Dotson and step-daughter of the late James K. Dotson. Connie was a 1981 graduate of Caldwell High School. She enjoyed crafts, home remodeling, and deer hunting with Daniel. She loved animals, especially her dogs. Surviving are her husband Daniel D. Prunty, whom she married January 23, 1987; her mother-in-law, Emily Seamster of Belle Valley; three brothers, Ivan Patterson of Marietta, Rick(Kristin) Worstell of DeVola and James (Amanda) Worstell of Caldwell; one sister, Kimberly (Daniel) Fox of Spencer, West Virginia; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Friday, April 27, 2007, from 2-4 and 7-9PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home in Caldwell, where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2007, at 1PM with Pastor Nate Gibbons officiating. Burial will follow at Halley's Ridge Cemetery near Ava. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Amercian Cancer Society, Central Ohio Region, 870 Michigan Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43215, or to the Humane Society of the Ohio Valley, 1210 County House Lane, Marietta, Ohio 45750.
