Obituary for Clyde Ervin Lincicome
Clyde Ervin Lincicome, age 79, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Sunday, May 4, 2014, at SE Ohio Regional Medical Center in Cambridge. He was born October 15, 1934, in Dexter City, son of the late Raymond and Ora Hesson Lincicome. He was a 1953 graduate of Dexter City High School, and he was a United States Army veteran, having served his country for four years. He was also a veteran of the Ohio National Guard. Mr. Lincicome owned and operated WLM Auto Sales and Service in Caldwell for nearly 20 years. He was formerly employed as service manager for Cowgill Chevrolet, and as a mechanic for Dean Reed Motors. He was also a school bus driver in Caldwell for Dean Reed. He was a member of the Caldwell Free Methodist Church, where he was Sunday School superintendent and teacher for many years. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and small engine repair, and in his younger days, he enjoyed playing golf.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one sister, Bessie Bettinger; and two brothers, Dave and Earl Lincicome.
Surviving are his wife, Louella Ruth Morris Lincicome, whom he married July 9, 1960; two daughters, Pam S. (John) Kinnen and Cindy L. (Kit) Reeves, both of Caldwell; one sister, Connie (Paul) Smithberger of Dexter City; three grandchildren, Jonathon G. (Mary Ann) Kinnen of Senecaville, Dustin C. (Nicole) Kinnen of Caldwell, and Ceirra A. Reeves of Caldwell; one great-granddaughter, Amelia A. Kinnen; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends may call Tuesday, May 6, 2014, from 4-8PM and Wednesday, May 7th from 11AM-1PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will follow visitation Wednesday at 1PM with Pastor Dave Wells officiating. Burial will follow at Sharon Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Caldwell Free Methodist Church, 221 Cumberland Street, Caldwell, Ohio, 43724.
