Clarence Chester “Chet” Feldner, Jr., age 62, of Canton, Ohio, died Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at his home. He was born January 15, 1961, in Caldwell, son of the late Clarence Chester and Blanche W. Bates Feldner, Sr. Chet was a 1979 graduate of Shenandoah High School, where he was active in the band as a drummer, and he won the Battle of the Bands in West Virginia playing the drums. He loved music and played in the family band The Green Valley Band. He earned his CDL license and worked as a driver, and he owned and operated C. F. Dreamweaver Properties, LLC. He was a former member of the Sons of the American Legion in Belle Valley. Chet was Christian by faith. He also enjoyed remodeling and rehabbing homes and playing video games. He loved his children and his family.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a daughter, Samantha Feldner.
Surviving are his wife, Veronica Kochjar Feldner, whom he married February 14, 1995; his children, Nikki Feldner of Scranton, Pennsylvania, and Clarence Chester Feldner, III, serving with the United States Navy in Pensacola, Florida; 5 grandchildren; his siblings, Marvin Feldner of Ohio, Charlotte Feldner of Beloit, and Greg (Kim) Feldner of Pleasant City; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and his beloved best friend, Christine Abbott of Caldwell.
Friends may call Tuesday, March 19, 2024, from 12PM-2PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will follow at 2PM with Ken Perkins officiating. Burial will follow at East Union Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org, or to the American Diabetes Association at www.diabetes.org.
