Obituary for Christopher Richard Gutowski
Christopher Richard Gutowski, age 25, of Buffalo, Ohio, died Sunday, November 10, 2013, at his home. He was born August 31, 1988, in Baltimore, Maryland, son of Gladys Marie Shore of Cambridge and Stanley Christopher (Jennifer Sue) Gutowski of Summerfield. He was a 2006 graduate of Shenandoah High School, and he attended Zane State University, where he studied electrical engineering. He was employed as a drafter for Bi-Con Engineering in Derwent, and he attended Kennonsburg United Methodist Church. Christopher enjoyed playing pool, basketball, poker, and the game Call of Duty. He is preceded in death by one grandmother, Cheryl Maistros; one grandfather, Marlin Shore; and one aunt, Susan Taylor. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Christy Nicole Feldner Gutowski, whom he married September 21, 2006; his children, Aiden Cade Gutowski, age 7, and twin daughters, October Rose and Trinity Marie Gutowski, age 3; his siblings, Paul Robert Blair of Maryland, Michelle Lynn Blair and Christopher Allen Gutowski, both of Cambridge, and Stanley Charles Gutowski, Thomas Stanley Gutowski, Abigail Grace Gutowski, and Joseph Lee-Roy Gutowski, all of Summerfield; his grandmother, Joyce Heddleson of Lewisville; his great-grandmother, Alberta Snyder of Barnesville; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Friends may call Friday, November 15, 2013, from 10AM-1PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will follow at 1PM with Pastor Mark Slay officiating. Burial will follow at Cumberland Cemetery in Cumberland. Memorial contributions may be made to McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, P.O. Box 263, Caldwell, Ohio, 43724, to assist the family with final expenses.
