Obituary for Charles M. "Mikey" Hupp, Jr.
Charles M. “Mikey” Hupp, Jr., age 55, of Macksburg, Ohio, died Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born March 5, 1967, in Marietta, son of Charles Michael and Donna Lee Britton Hupp, Sr. of Macksburg. Mikey was a 1986 graduate of Caldwell High School and a United States Marine Corps veteran. He was a lance corporal who served as a communications officer in the service. He was employed by Noble Satellite for several years and by Dingess Bobcat Service. He was also a self-employed handyman who specialized in drywall and textured ceilings. He was Protestant by faith and was a life member of the AMVETS Post Ohio # 821 and former member of the Caldwell Moose Lodge. Charles enjoyed fishing, deer hunting, listening to music and playing music with his family.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Tracy L. Ross Hupp; two children, Charles Michael (Allison) Hupp, III, and Joseph Edward (Karen) Hupp, all of Cambridge; a step-daughter, Tera Lynn Ross of Cambridge; two sisters, Angela D. (Elmer “Dee”) Dingess of Lowell and Maya L. (James) Kirkbride of Macksburg; 3 grandchildren; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A private service will be observed by the family with a veteran’s service conducted by the Noble County Veteran Service Organizations. McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, is caring for the family.
