Charles Frederick Teeters, age 78, of Belle Valley, Ohio, died Sunday, June 17, 2007, at Genesis Good Samaritan Medical Center, Zanesville, Ohio. He was born July 25, 1928, in Marietta, Ohio, son of the late Harley and Bertie Wentworth Teeters. He was a WWII Army veteran and a member of the Belle Valley American Legion #641 and the Caldwell VFW Post #4721. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Clara Belle Crock and Vera Milligan; and two brothers, Harley and Ralph Teeters. Surviving are two sons, John D. (Nancy) Teeters of Alexandria, Ohio and Frederick D. Teeters of Arizona; one daughter, Bertie (Andy) Bertram of Florida; one brother, Richard Teeters of Caldwell; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Friends were received Tuesday, June 19, 2007 from 4-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, Caldwell, where the funeral service was held Wednesday, June 20 at 11AM with Pastor Bill Pickenpaugh officiating. Burial was in Hoskinsville Cemetery with military graveside services conducted by the Noble County Veteran Services Organizations.
