Obituary for Charles Dwight Snodgrass
Charles Dwight Snodgrass, age 90, of Dexter City, Ohio, died Sunday, October 14, 2007, at his home. He was born April 13, 1917, in Mannington, West Virginia, son of the late Charles Wesley and Annie Ramsier Snodgrass. Mr. Snodgrass was a retired driver for the former Hughes Trucking Company at Caldwell and he was a member of the Main Street Church of Christ in Caldwell. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Mary E. Hendershot Snodgrass, who died December 7, 2000; one son, Robert Dwight Snodgrass, who died March 17, 2004; two granddaughters, Janice McKown and Patty Ann Riggs; one grandson, Larry Riggs; two sisters, Mary Toothman and Caroline Nolf; and three brothers, Bill, Jack, and Don Snodgrass. Surviving are four daughters, Katy N. Riggs of Caldwell, Anna Mae Wolford of Caldwell, Mary Lois McKown of Dexter City, and Dorothy L. Pack of Macksburg; one daughter-in-law, Judi Snodgrass of Macksburg; 18 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and all his special caregivers and little Charlie Horse. Friends may call Monday, October 15, 2007, from 7-9PM and Tuesday, October 16 from 2-4 and 7-9PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home in Caldwell, where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 17 at 1PM with Evangelists Craig Matheny and Robert Vincent officiating.
