Obituary for Charles C. Creamer
Charles C. Creamer, age 74, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Friday, December 16, 2011, at his home. He was born June 27, 1937, in Rayland, Ohio, son of the late Clarence and Dorothy Warden Creamer. He joined the United States Air Force, then transferred to the United States Navy, serving his country for 10 years. He was formerly employed by Frank McVicker Trucking, Clair Hughes Trucking, and JR Brown Trucking, finally retiring in 1985 as a driver/operator for Nicholozakes Trucking in Cambridge. He enjoyed fishing and gardening, and spending time with his precious great-grandchildren, Emily Welch and Parker Neff. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, William Creamer. Surviving are his wife, Frances A. Rowlands Creamer, whom he married August 7, 1965; his children, Clyde Raymond 'Bink' (Loretta) Tidd, III, Jennifer D. (Rick) Welch, and Kevin E. Creamer all of Caldwell, and Dennis S. (Wanda) Creamer of Hopkinsville, Kentucky; one sister, Barbara Brawdy of Rayland; four brothers, Ernie Creamer of Cadiz, Donnie Creamer of Rayland, George (Patty) Creamer of Cambridge, and Jimmy Creamer of Carrollton; nine grandchildren, Jessica, Julia, and Jayden Tidd, Dustin, Ashley, Drew, and Derick Welch, and Kyle and Nathan Wagoner; three great-grandchildren, Emily Nichole Welch, Parker Martin Neff, and Killian Bentley; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Friends may call on the family Monday, December 19, 2011, from 4-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell. At Mr. Creamer's request, his body has been donated to Ohio State University Medical Center.
