Obituary for Charles Arlen Fogle
Charles A. Fogle, age 82, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Sunday morning, April 10. 2011,at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center in Cambridge. He was born November 21, 1928, in Caldwell, son of the late Walter and Hannah Jane Morrison Fogle. Mr. Fogle was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was employedby the former General Telephone Company for 15 years. Hewas retired from IBEW Local 1105 in Newark. He enjoyed coon hunting, fishing, four wheeling, square dancing, playing euchre. In his later years, he enjoyedcompleting jig saw puzzles.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death byone daughter, Charlotte Larrick;two sisters, Ileen Fogle & Noreen Bates; andfour brothers, Kenneth, Donald, Carl and Richard Fogle.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth A. Gordon Fogle, whom he married October 27, 1948;one son, G. Leon (Joyce) Fogle of Plainfield;one brother, Clarence E. (Thelma) Fogle of Caldwell;three step- grandchildren;and manynieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Friends may call Tuesday, April 12, 2011,from 2-4 and 6-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service willobserved Wednesday, April 13th at 11AM with Pastor Jim Garrett officiating. Burial will follow in Olive Cemetery, Caldwell.
