Obituary for Carolyn Sue Angus
Carolyn Sue Angus, age 51, of New Lebanon, Ohio, died Wednesday, October 31, 2007, at her home. She was born September 23, 1956, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, daughter of Esther P. Murray Keyser of Caldwell and the late John W. Keyser, Sr. She was a graduate of Medowland High School in Dayton and she was retired as an LPN from Harborside Nursing Home in New Lebanon. She was a former councilwoman for the village of New Lebanon, and an active member of the New Lebanon Stagecoach Days Festival Committee. She was an active supporter of the Dixie 5th grade cheerleaders and a member of the Church of Christ at Englewood, Ohio. In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Irwin Angus, whom she married June 29, 1974, and who died August 3, 1996; and one great-niece, Miranda Perkins. In addition to her mother, she is survived by a daughter, Jennifer D. Angus of the home; three brothers, John William 'Bill' Keyser, Jr. of Meadville, Pennsylvania, Homer Keyser of Caldwell, and James Richard (Pam) Keyser of Vandalia; one granddaughter, Bridgette L. Comer; her sister-in-law and best friend, Martha Jane (Donnie) Vaughn of West Alexandria; her brother-in-law, Timothy Scott (Melody) Angus of Union; close friends, Lou Cooper and Shelby Comer; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Sunday, November 4, 2007, from 4-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, Caldwell, where the funeral service will be held Monday, November 5, 2007, at 11AM with Jim Lee officiating. Burial will follow at Sharon Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Jennifer Angus, P.O. Box 314, Lebanon, Ohio 45345.
