Obituary for Carol J. Greskowiak
Carol J. Greskowiak, age 71, of Grafton, Ohio, died Sunday, February 10, 2019, at the home of her daughter in Grafton. She was born November 29, 1947, in Fayetteville, West Virginia, daughter of the late Robert Frank and Carrie Mae Bennett Wheeler. She was a 1966 graduate of Independence High School and she was a graduate of Lorain County Community College where she was enrolled in the accounting program. She was formerly employed by Ohio Bell in Cleveland and Lorain County Community College. She was a member of Midview Baptist Church in Grafton and attended New Harmony Baptist Church in Dexter City. Carol enjoyed sharing devotions online with her family and friends. She loved fishing and hunting, and she was a talented cook who especially enjoyed cooking wild game and fish that her family caught.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
Surviving are her husband, Casimer “Casey” Greskowiak, III, whom she married January 13, 1978; her children, Cassandra J. (Jeff) DePuy of Cleveland, Constance L. “Connie” (Jay) Echstenkamper of Grafton, and Casimer “Casey” (Samantha) Greskowiak, IV, of Caldwell; 8 grandchildren; several brothers and sisters; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Thursday, February 14, 2019, from 11AM-1PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will follow visitation at 1PM with Pastor Mark Leslie officiating. Burial will follow at Hoskinsville Cemetery. The family would like to offer special thanks for the healing hands of Dr. Baidehi Maiti and the Oncology/Hematology Department at Cleveland Clinic – Avon and to the Cleveland Clinic Hospice.
