Obituary for C. Fremont Kirkbride
C. Fremont Kirkbride, age 93, of Beverly, Ohio, formerly of Cumberland, died Tuesday, February 9, 2016, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born March 4, 1922, in Sarahsville, son of the late Simeon and Phoebe Wickham Kirkbride. He was a United States Army veteran, having retired following 26 years of service. He was also employed and retired from Malta Man Window Manufacturing. Mr. Kirkbride was Methodist by faith, and he enjoyed reading and listening to the radio.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Maxine Kirkbride, who died in 2015; one daughter, Connie Rutter; three sisters; and four brothers.
Surviving are three sons, Clarence Kirkbride, Ronnie Kirkbride, and Gene Kirkbride; one sister, Mary Hupp; two grandchildren, Larry Rutter of Beverly and Virginia Ross of Zanesville; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends may call Thursday, February 11, 2016, from 4-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will be observed Friday, February 12th at 11AM with Pastor George Clark officiating. A veteran’s graveside service will follow at Village View Cemetery in Sarahsville conducted by the Noble County Veteran Service Organizations.
