Obituary for Brenda L. Halberstadt
Brenda L. Ramsey Halberstadt, age 64, of Zanesville, Ohio, died Monday, July 18, 2022, at The Ohio State University Hospice. She was born April 5, 1958, in Zanesville, daughter of V. Jean Mendenhall Ramsey of Caldwell and the late Herbert W. Ramsey. Brenda was a 1976 graduate of Caldwell High School. She was employed as an office manager by Dr. Jack Booth in Zanesville for many years, and she was a member of the Caldwell Church of Christ. She was an avid Ohio State University fan and she was dedicated to her family and friends. She was a loving caregiver to her mother and she was a very humble person.
In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Peggy L. and Robert Snyder, Jr.; and two brothers, John Herbert Ramsey and Gregory Lee Ramsey.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Paul F. Halberstadt, whom she married July 19, 1986; her brother, Jerry A. (Brenda) Ramsey of Summerfield; several nieces; and many friends.
Friends may call Saturday, July 23, 2022, from 12-2PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will follow visitation at 2PM with Pastor Jim Garrett officiating.
