Obituary for Bonnie Sue Willey
Bonnie Sue Willey, age 55, of Marietta, Ohio, and a resident of The Arbors at Marietta for the past year, died Tuesday, April 8, 2008, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born July 10, 1952, in Marietta, daughter of Ruth Lois Mosser Wallace of Marietta and the late Lawrence Dale Wallace. She was a homemaker and a beloved mother who enjoyed reading, watching television, eating out, and helping those who were canning. She assisted in the care of her sister-in-law, the late Lois Willey, and she enjoyed reading to and playing with her grandson. In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her father and mother-in-law, Pete and Olive Willey; sister-in-law, Lois Willey; and a brother-in-law, Herman Hill. Surviving in addition to her mother are her husband, Mahlon Dayle Willey, whom she married October 19, 1968; her children, Lenora (Wayne) Lockhart of Lowell, Marlene Sullivan of Macksburg, Jason Willey of the home, and Jared (Jamie) Willey of Waterford; one sister, Jean Hill of Marietta; one grandson, David Lockhart; a favorite uncle, Wilford (Elaine) Wallace of Marietta; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Friends may call Friday, April 11, 2008, from 2-4 and 6-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will be held Saturday, April 12th at 11AM with Pastor Lou Verdi officiating. Burial will follow at Dudley Cemetery, Caldwell.
