Obituary for Bonnie M. Miller
Bonnie M. Miller, age 82, of Cumberland, Ohio, died Thursday, May 10, 2018, at SE Ohio Regional Medical Center in Cambridge. She was born September 30, 1935, in Caldwell, daughter of the late George W. and Evelyn Poling Anderson. She was a 1954 graduate of Belle Valley High School, and she retired from LDM in Byesville. In her early years, Bonnie loved to play horseshoes and won many awards and trophies from competing in tournaments. She enjoyed fishing and camping, working puzzle books, and she enjoyed watching the Cleveland Indians. She was a devoted mother who loved her family, and she was kind and caring to everyone. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one son, Timothy A. Anderson, who died November 21, 1995; one daughter, Cheryl A. Pangle, who died September 4, 2000; 5 grandchildren; 6 sisters, Alice “Babe” Hicks, Vivian LaBarre, Cuba Davis, Jean Wittenbrook, Ruth Bond, and Winona McCune; and 4 brothers, Leonard, Lloyd, John, and Homer Anderson. Surviving are her children, Linda D. (Andy) Miller Rutter, Jeff L. Anderson (Janice Novak) and Lloyd E. Anderson, all of Cumberland; two sisters, Wanda J. Gildow of Caldwell and Pauline P. Woomer of Cutler; a sister-in-law, Marilyn Jean Anderson of Zanesville; 5 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Friends may call Sunday, May 13, 2018, from 4-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will be observed Monday, May 14th at 11AM with Pastor Bill Pickenpaugh officiating. Inurnment will follow at Barry’s Ridge Cemetery at a later time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to McVay-Perkins Funeral Home to assist the family by using the green tab in the left column.
