Obituary for Bonnie L. Perkins
Bonnie Louise Perkins, age 83, of Zanesville, Ohio, died Sunday, August 16, 2009, at Genesis Good Samaritan Medical Center in Zanesville. She was born September 1, 1925, in Belle Valley, Ohio, daughter of the late Cecil and Goldie McPeek Preston. She was a graduate of Belle Valley High School. She had been employed by the former Mosaic Tile Company, and she retired as a sales clerk from J.C. Penney in Zanesville. She was a member of Ava Free Methodist Church in Ava. She is survived by her husband, Clifford O. Perkins, whom she married February 21, 1948; and several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews. Friends may call Tuesday, August 18, 2009, from 2-4 and 6-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will be observed Wednesday, August 19, 2009, at 11AM with Pastor Brennan Dudley officiating. Burial will follow at Halley?s Ridge Cemetery near Ava.
