Obituary for Blanche W. Feldner
Blanche W. Feldner, age 83, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Friday, March 29, 2013, at Summit Acres Nursing Home in Caldwell. She was born September 12, 1929, in Noble County, Ohio, daughter of the late Elvin G. and Mary A. King Bates. She was employed by the former Hutchins Royal Blue Market in Caldwell, and she enjoyed traveling to riverboat casinos and playing bingo. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Chester C. Feldner, who died April 7, 1981; two sisters, Beulah Swain and Goldie Carter; four brothers, Dighton Bates, Clarence Bates, Alfred Bates, and William Bates; and one granddaughter, Samantha Feldner. Surviving are her children, Marvin L. Feldner of Zanesville, Charlotte Ann Feldner of Columbus, Clarence Chester “Chett” (Veronica) Feldner, Jr. of Sarahsville, and Gregory Trent (Kimberly) Feldner of Pleasant City; one sister, Anna Murrey of Canton; three brothers, Olan Bates of Indiana, Orlen Bates of Akron, and Ron C. Bates of Cleveland; 9 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. There will be no visitation. A graveside service will be observed Monday, April 1, 2013, at 1PM at Village View Cemetery in Sarahsville with Pastor Jimmy Rogers officiating. McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, is caring for the family.
